Northern Alabama Drive
Mark your calendars 10/21 – 10/22 as we prepare to venture outside of Georgia through previously uncharted territory in northern Alabama and Tennessee (it was discovered by a small group of Audi Club Georgia members at last year’s running of this event). We will gather Saturday afternoon at the Lodge at Lake Guntersville State Park. At dusk, we’ll head out for a joint dinner in Guntersville.
First thing Sunday morning, we’ll take off on a fun route northward through the Crow Mountain area and into Tennessee. John Patterson will then continue to lead us up to Lynchburg and the famed Jack Daniel’s Distillery. Thanks to our sponsors, Audi Atlanta/Audi Marietta, we can provide lunch for everyone, at one of the quaint restaurants in downtown Lynchburg. Final details are still in the works.
The return drive will take us back south into Alabama, past Cathedral Caverns State Park, worth a visit on your next trip to the area, and ending back at the Lodge at Lake Guntersville. Call the Lodge, 256/571-5440, to book your room as soon as you have registered. Based on current group leader availability, we’re limited to 20 cars, so make plans right away!
There is a $10 participation fee which will be charged at checkout after you’ve completed the attendance form. Registration for this event is now open.
